CloudSec:
Managed Email & Cloud Security Services

One flat rate. Every layer of protection your cloud tools need.

Microsoft and Google secure the platforms you run on, which covers the servers, the infrastructure, and the uptime. However, neither is responsible for what happens inside your inbox, who clicks a bad link, or whether your files are actually backed up. That part is on you, which most business owners find out only after something’s already gone wrong.

CloudSec is Travel Tech’s standalone answer to that: a self-contained layer of email and cloud security that runs on top of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or Slack, whether or not you already have someone else managing your IT. One flat rate per user, and no obligation to sign up for anything beyond CloudSec itself.

What's Included

Email Filtering

Catches phishing, impersonation, and spam before they reach an inbox.

Link Scanning

Checks every link again at the moment someone clicks it, not just when it first arrived.

Phishing Simulation & Training

Real test campaigns that show exactly who needs more training, with real numbers behind it.

Microsoft 365 & Slack Monitoring

Suspicious logins and activity get flagged as they happen.

Daily Backups

Every mailbox, OneDrive account, and SharePoint site backed up and restorable on request.

Dark Web Monitoring

Credentials tied to your domain get flagged the moment they turn up somewhere they shouldn't.

Who CloudSec Is Built For

If you already have IT support

Whether that’s an internal hire, a small IT team, or another MSP, our CloudSec service doesn’t require you to change any of it. It layers onto Microsoft 365 and other popular cloud-based tools with no new logins for staff, no hardware, and no migration. Configuration happens on Travel Tech’s end, and your existing team keeps doing what it already does, with the security layer running underneath it.

If you don't have IT yet

Plenty of businesses run entirely on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace with no formal IT relationship at all, and that’s normal. CloudSec gives you the one piece that can’t safely wait: the security layer, without the overhead of a full department. If your needs grow past that, you’re already talking to the team that knows your setup instead of starting that conversation from zero.

What Makes CloudSec Different From Managed IT

Managed IT means Travel Tech takes over your whole environment, including your hardware, help desk, and long-term strategy for one flat rate per user. CloudSec is one intentionally narrow piece of that: the cloud and email security layer, sold on its own, for its own price.

A dedicated, security-focused IT hire typically runs $95,000–$125,000 a year in salary alone, before benefits or training (Robert Half Technology Salary Guide). CloudSec covers the same pieces of your business for $20 per user, per month, flat. Live in days, not months.

Built By a Team of Experienced IT Professionals

Every Managed IT client Travel Tech supports already gets email filtering, backups, and cloud monitoring as part of the relationship. It’s baked into how the team runs IT day to day, not something built from scratch for this offer.

A meaningful share of that client base works under real compliance pressure for businesses such as defense contractors managing CMMC Level 2 requirements, medical practices under HIPAA, law firms handling privileged client data. None of them get to treat cloud security as optional, so neither do we.

“Because of a hosting issue, our company email somehow got blacklisted. We were dead in the water when we called in Travel Tech. They had us back up and running the same day. We now rest easy and are able to focus on our own business because Travel Tech manages all of our IT operations.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Who's responsible for security in the cloud?

Microsoft and Google are responsible for securing the platform itself. You’re responsible for what happens on top of it: email, file access, user behavior, and backups. That split is called the shared responsibility model, and it’s the reason CloudSec exists.

  • Monitor resource usage of all systems; this can give us great insight on hardware performance, and flag issues before they become disruptive failures.
  • Maintain operating systems with the latest patches and updates, to make sure all computers are securely patched and updated.  This also involves RESTRICTING updates in the event that Microsoft has missed the ball and patches cause more problems than they help.
  • Monitor system warranties and service tags, especially servers- we make sure warranties are updated and maintained, and all systems stay current.
  • Operating systems- make sure all computers are on current operating system versions, and monitor for end-of-life hardware like we’ve seen recently with Windows 10.

Cloud security covers the tools and practices that protect your data, accounts, and communications once they’re stored or running on a cloud platform like Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, separate from the security the platform provider handles on their end.

Yes, if cloud and email security isn’t specifically what they’re staffed to handle full time. Most in-house IT and general MSP support are stretched across hardware, help desk, and day-to-day tickets. CloudSec runs alongside that without replacing it.

Point us at your Microsoft 365 tenant and we can have coverage running across your whole team in days, whether that’s 5 users or 500.

$20 per user, per month, flat. Every layer — filtering, link scanning, phishing testing, monitoring, backups, and dark web monitoring — is included, with no separate line items.
